PROMPT TIPS

How to write a good image prompt

  1. Lead with the subject. Say what is in the picture before you say how it looks.
  2. Set the scene and the light. Add the place, time of day and lighting, such as “golden hour” or “soft studio light”.
  3. Name a style. Photorealistic, editorial photo, flat illustration, 3D render or oil painting.
  4. Quote any words. Put text that must appear in quotes, keep it short, and include Ideogram in your run.
  5. Match the format. Choose 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 or 3:4 to fit where the image will be used.

What is the best AI image generator?

There is no single best AI image generator for every job. Ideogram is a strong pick for text inside images, Nano Banana Pro for detailed, high-fidelity images, Leonardo for characters, concept art and stylized illustration, and GPT Image for following precise prompts. MultipleChat lets you run one prompt across up to 5 of them and choose by looking at the results.

What is multi-model image generation?

You send one prompt to several image models and compare their interpretations side by side in one workspace. It is a quick way to explore composition, lighting and style before you choose an image or refine the prompt.

Which image models can I use?

Choose from six models: GPT Image (OpenAI), Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro (Google), Ideogram, Leonardo (Leonardo.Ai) and SD3 (Stability AI). You can compare up to 5 of them per prompt. Check the model selector in the app for current availability on your plan.

Which model is best for text in images?

Start with Ideogram when words have to be readable, for example on posters, signs or logos. GPT Image and SD3 are good second opinions. Put the exact words in quotes in your prompt and keep them short.

Can I use it as an AI photo generator?

Yes. For photorealistic images, start with Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image and add SD3 for another take. Describe the camera view, the lighting and the setting, as you would brief a photographer.

Can I choose the image format?

Yes. The Image Generator offers five aspect ratios: 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 and 3:4. Choose the format that fits your social post, presentation, website or other project.

Can I edit an image I already have?

Yes. Open Image Studio to upload an existing image, describe a change or remove its background. The Image Generator is where you start when you want to create a new image from a text prompt.

Are image tools included in my plan?

AI image generation requires an active Pro or Smart plan, including the corresponding team plans, and available tokens. Image actions are not available during free trials. Studio usage is separate from normal chat usage, and Smart includes more of it than Pro. Review the token cost in the app before generating.
