What MultipleChat does that one AI cannot.

You already do half of this by hand: ask one model, paste the answer into another to check it. Here is what that turned up on a real task for compliance officers.

You asked

Does our current policy cover this new requirement?

Auto Verification caught

The requirement was cited in its pre-amendment wording; the check attached the current text, which added a reporting obligation.

The models disagreed

One model said the existing control covers it.

Another said the control covers detection but nothing covers the reporting timeline.

That gap is exactly what an auditor opens with, and it was found in a draft rather than in a finding.

How the checking works

What AI does for compliance officers

Use case 1

Map a rule to your existing controls

Find the requirement nothing covers.

Try this prompt

Here is a regulatory requirement: [paste]. Here are our current controls: [paste]. Map each part of the requirement to a control. List every part with no control against it, and every control that only partly covers what it claims to.
Use case 2

Rewrite a policy so people follow it

The same policy at the length staff will actually read.

Try this prompt

Rewrite this policy for the people who have to follow it, not for the auditor: [paste]. Keep every obligation intact. Under 400 words, plain language, with a short 'what this means for you' section by role.
Use case 3

Pre-mortem the control before it is tested

Ask the models how this fails in practice.

Try this prompt

Here is a control and how it is meant to operate: [paste]. How does this fail in practice? Where does it depend on one person remembering something? What evidence would an auditor ask for that we probably cannot produce?
Use case 4

Turn an incident into a file note

Facts, timeline, gap, remediation — in the order a reviewer reads them.

Try this prompt

From these notes, write an incident record: what happened, the timeline, which control failed and why, immediate containment, remediation with owners and dates, and what the root cause actually was rather than what it looked like.

How to start in the next 10 minutes

1

Open MultipleChat and turn on AI Collaboration.

2

Paste the requirement and your control alongside each other.

3

Read the Disagreements list — a split is usually a genuine ambiguity in the rule.

4

Verify every citation before it goes into a policy or a board paper.

What you might be worried about

It cited a rule that has been amended

Routinely. A model's knowledge has a date and regulations do not respect it. Every citation goes through verification, and anything it cannot support against a current source is flagged rather than passed on.

Can I paste internal policies in?

On paid plans nothing you enter trains a model and providers do not retain it. Enterprise adds data isolation, SSO and audit logs if your framework requires them.

Will this create an audit problem?

The opposite, if you keep the record: what was checked, what the verification found, and where the models disagreed. That is a stronger paper trail than a draft with no provenance.

FAQ for compliance officers

Can it keep up with regulatory change?

Not on its own. Use research mode so claims come with live sources attached, and treat anything without a source as unverified.

Can it read a long rulebook?

Yes. Upload it and ask for the obligations that apply to your activity, in a table, with the paragraph reference for each.

Is it good at gap analysis?

It is good at the first pass and finds things people skim past. It will also miss context only you have, which is why the second model matters.

Does it replace legal advice?

No. It drafts, maps and pressure-tests. Where two models read a clause differently, that is the one to take to counsel.
