What MultipleChat does that one AI cannot.

You already do half of this by hand: ask one model, paste the answer into another to check it. Here is what that turned up on a real task for bookkeepers.

You asked

Categorise this month's transactions and flag anything unusual.

Auto Verification caught

A filing deadline it mentioned came from a superseded calendar.

The models disagreed

One model expensed the equipment purchase.

Another capitalised it and explained why the amount crosses the threshold.

That is the exact question to put to the accountant — found now, not at year end.

How the checking works

What AI does for bookkeepers

Use case 1

Explain the month to a client in plain English

Turn the P&L into four sentences the client will actually read.

Try this prompt

Here is a monthly P&L and the prior month. Write a short client update: what changed, why it probably changed, the one number they should care about, and one question I should ask them. No jargon, under 200 words.
Use case 2

Find what does not belong

Paste the transaction list and ask for the outliers rather than the totals.

Try this prompt

Here is a month of transactions. List anything unusual: duplicates, amounts out of line with the usual range for that supplier, categories that look wrong, and anything that looks personal rather than business. Explain why each one caught your attention.
Use case 3

Write the chase email that actually gets paid

Three escalation levels, ready to send.

Try this prompt

Write three versions of a payment reminder for an invoice that is [X] days overdue with a client we want to keep: friendly nudge, firm follow-up, and final notice before it goes to collections. Keep each under 90 words.
Use case 4

Draft the questions before you ask the accountant

Tighten a messy question into one worth billing time against.

Try this prompt

Here is the situation: [describe]. Write the question I should put to the accountant, the information they will ask me for, and the two or three possible treatments so I understand the answer when it comes back.

How to start in the next 10 minutes

1

Open MultipleChat and turn on AI Collaboration.

2

Upload the ledger extract or paste the transactions.

3

Ask for outliers and explanations, not totals.

4

Check every date, rate and threshold against the sources the verification pass attaches.

What you might be worried about

Will it get the numbers wrong?

It can, especially arithmetic buried in long text. Treat it as a first pass that must be checked, not a calculator. The verification pass exists precisely because a confident wrong number is worse than no number.

Is client data safe here?

On paid plans nothing you upload trains a model and providers do not retain it. Strip names where you can; the work rarely needs them.

Will it know this year's rules?

Assume it does not. Anything with a threshold, a rate or a deadline gets checked against a current source before you act on it — the fact check flags what it cannot support.

FAQ for bookkeepers

Can it read a bank statement PDF?

Yes, including scanned ones. Ask it to extract the transactions into a table first, then check a handful of rows against the original before you rely on it.

Can it replace my bookkeeping software?

No. It sits alongside it — explaining, drafting, summarising and catching oddities the software has no opinion about.

Is it good at VAT or sales tax questions?

It is good at explaining the concept and terrible at being current on rates and thresholds. Use it to understand, then verify the specifics.

How do I stop it inventing a rule?

Ask it to cite a source for anything it states as a rule. When nothing supports a claim, the verification pass marks it as unsupported instead of letting it through.
